Fashion & Styling

My passion is creating avant garde fashion. I love to see it moving and enticing the imagination of the viewer! When you get the chance to put on one of my pieces you will discover the feeling that it gives you! The confidence... the freedom... the fantasy! I particularly enjoy creating custom made pieces which truly encompass my client's personality, desires and requirements.

Styling is also a highlight of my art! I love that moment in a shoot where I've twisted and tweaked and finally I've nailed THE LOOK! The endorphins go off in my head and I clap my hands and jump for joy when that certain something has popped and my piece of living art is complete!

Please enjoy my 'Fashion & Styling'  album as my fantasies appear and come to life! All of my original pieces reflect an element of my desires and are created with love of the process and heart felt attention to detail!

Don't follow fashion.... Create it.
Love your life - Live the dream!

'Vice Versa' - Toronto Shoot
The goal of 2010 has been for me to create a new collection and to take it overseas for a fabulous shoot! It's taken time, patience, money and lots of hard work but I have finally made this dream a reality!

While I was in Toronto I was lucky enough to collaborate with three fabulous young ladies! Photographer Jennifer Goren, model Mo'nique and our fabulous location manager Jessica Hannagan! Thank you ladies for your energy, excitement and commitment to creating some fantastic art! If you would like to work with Jennifer or Mo'nique please send me an email and I will put you in touch!

'ALPHAMAMA'

It's amazing what can be achieved when three healthy, creative, passionate, motivated women combine forces! Collaborating with Nina Claire (animation extraordinaire) and ALPHAMAMA was an absolute delight, and as you can see from the images, we were celebrating our inner goddess! This project really allowed my imagination to run wild and I literally created my 'dream world', full of pink tulle, flowers, butterflies and strawberries!

Emma Dean'
From the moment  Emma Dean and I met we totally clicked! The more we discovered about each other the more exciting our friendship became! Over the past three years we've embarked on a number of collaborations and now it seems Emma has become my muse! I am so proud for Emma to wear pieces from my collections so beautifully! I hope you enjoy her music videos and the images from the shoot!

'Three Super Stars Unite!'
In 2008 three crazy people shared some crazy ideas and had a crazy day of photo shoot LOVE! When London DJ sensation Janette Slack arrived in Brisbane I knew that she was someone I would love to meet! The biggest thing I knew about Janette was that she was resident DJ at London's famous club 'The Torture Garden', once we had hung out for a few days I was blown away by her beauty, intelligence and her fantastic sense for fun! This girl is living the dream and she's a perfect person to model my clothes!

It was Janette who introduced me to Brisbane artist Danni Rapmund! Danni is a mega cool guy who makes photo sessions a breeze! He's so easy going and creates fantastic shots from any light! His street edge and creativity in the production of his images has created helped to create my favorite photo shoot yet! This shoot certainly shows what 'Angela White' is all about!

'Amanda Palmer & The Danger Ensemble'
In 2006 I was fortunate enough to cross paths with an extraordinary young artist, Steven Mitchell Wright... and soon enough my career began to explode! Working with Steven was exciting for me as he really pushed me to keep thinking more broadly about my designs. When I thought I had come up with the perfect design he would tell me to go even further with it, 'Be more outrageous! Even more unpredictable!' and he was right! There was always a next level! I would say that he really showed me what it is to be an artist!

Steven is now director of the internationally travelled company 'The Danger Ensemble'. Steven and his company have worked alongside 'Punk Cabaret' duo the Dresden Dolls and they have toured the globe with the incredibly charismatic Amanda Palmer. In 2007 Amanda and The Danger Ensemble performed to sell out crowds at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where Amanda wore a couture skirt I made for her. Later that year a collection of custom made pieces were worn by Amanda and The Danger Ensemble through out her Australian leg of the 'Who Killed Amanda Palmer?' tour.

'Feel So Much Love' - Music Video Shoot

In 2009 fellow stylist Renee Nicholson and I were invited to collaborate with dance music act 'Tretaya', to style their music video shoot. The dancers were full of energy, and the location (inside a graffiti filled drain) was fantastic! The result... some very bright, sexy photos and a very enjoyable day!
